Hollingsworth Consulting’s partnership with Fairfield County Educational Service Center (ESC) is expanding. The collaboration provides flexible, industry-recognized credentialing options for school districts seeking to enhance their curricula and better prepare students for the workforce.
With the Yellow and Green Belt courses underway, we are excited to announce that our partnership will be expanded to include the Leadership Excellence credential. It will be available on January 1, 2026. This additional credential provides the opportunity for students to earn all 12 points for the Industry-Recognized Certification Seal.
Under Ohio’s long-term graduation requirements, students must demonstrate readiness as a part of their pathway to earning a high school diploma. To demonstrate readiness, students must earn at least two seals, one of which must be a state-defined seal.
Lean Six Sigma credentials are recognized (applicable) in all 13 career fields on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce approved list and together the yellow and green belt courses provide 9 of the 12 required points (75%). The addition of the Leadership Excellence course will allow students to bundle these credentials to earn their Ohio Industry-Recognized Credential Seal once all three courses are completed. An added benefit for students is that these courses build transferable skills and knowledge, for any career field or path.
The Yellow and Green Belt courses prepare students to be an effective improvement project team member and improvement project team leader, respectively. The Leadership Excellence course will introduce students to workplace expectations in terms of professional competencies. Topics will include principles of a leader, self-leadership, communication, team building and coaching.
Hollingsworth Consulting is honored to be an integral part of the future of workforce development through the partnership with Fairfield County Educational Service Center’s InnevAto EDU initiative.
